[CHCA: Approval of Handbooks and Directives]

The Superintendent or designee, with input from other administrators, are responsible for the development of employee and student handbooks. Such handbooks may include, but are not limited to, the Board-approved Student Code of Conduct and other board policies.

The contents of all handbooks must conform with District-wide policies and regulations. The Board must approve and adopt all handbooks prior to publication and distribution unless all components were previously approved by the Board.
