Consolidated Communications presented a check to Webster Librarian for the purchase of e-books

MANCHESTER – On Wednesday, Consolidated Communications presented a $2,500 grant to Webster School for the purchase of e-books for the school's library.

Representatives from Consolidated Communications presented a giant check to Webster's Library Media Specialist, Rebecca Domin, during a school-wide assembly. Ms. Domin said she was thrilled to accept the generous grant.

"Adding e-books to our school library collection will give all families access to a wide range of books and resources that can be used to build vocabulary, enhance reading skills, provide resources for projects, and develop technology literacy when children are not in the school building," Domin said. "The ability to use ebooks through the library online catalog gives families access to reliable, accurate, and age-appropriate resources anytime, anywhere."

By purchasing the e-books, the school will have unlimited use, meaning students won't need to wait for a book to be returned to check it out. Domin said this will serve the population of the school well.

"We are appreciative and excited to be able to share these resources with our families," Domin said.
